Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine

One of the must-visit Mount Fuji viewing spots is Arakurayama Sengen Park. Located halfway up Mount Arakura, the observation point offers a breathtaking view where you can look out over the beautifully symmetrical Mount Fuji. Visitors can also enjoy the beauty of nature throughout the seasons, with cherry blossoms in spring and autumn leaves in fall. In spring, about 650 cherry trees bloom magnificently, creating a stunningly Japanese landscape with the five-storied pagoda (Chureito Pagoda), cherry blossoms, and Mount Fuji all in one view. In recent years, it has become extremely popular among international travelers as a place where you can experience Mount Fuji and Kyoto-like scenery at the same time. It has also been selected as one of the “New Japan’s Three Great Night Views” and the “100 Best Night Views in Japan,” making it a favorite spot among night-view enthusiasts as well. 2-4-1 Asama, Fujiyoshida City, Yamanashi 403-0011, Japan
